Pianist Paula Collins brings an inspiring level of mastery to the piano. Known regionally as performer, composer, writer, and teacher, Ms. Collins has firmly established herself as a very capable and imaginative musician. Ms. Collins holds the Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music Diploma (LRSM) in Piano Teaching, and the Advanced Certificate in Piano Performing from The Associated Board of The Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) based in London. Ms. Collins holds Master’s degrees in Piano Performance and in Music Composition from the University of Houston. Ms. Collins was an active participation at the 2006 PianoTexas International Academy and Festival in Ft. Worth, home of the Van Cliburn Competition Ms. Collins now lives in New York City, where she teaches music at a high school in Manhattan. With an ever-evolving repertoire, Ms. Collins continues to develop a style and finesse which spring from her excellent musical heritage.
